Drivers who score DNF (did not finish) as the result of a crash, third charged yellow, or any other instance identified as DNF under QMA rules in a race, will receive points according to when they dropped out in relation to other drivers. Drivers who attempted to warm up and/or race and received a DNS (did not start) will receive last place points.

HEAT FORMAT: Two Heat Races and One Main Event
Order of the races will follow the sanctioning bodies format unless otherwise determined by the Race Director. This will be presented at the Pit Meeting.
Heat Races begin immediately following pit meeting. Line ups are determined by the pill draw. First heat will be straight up (lowest pill draw number to the front). Second heat will be a full invert from the first heat (lowest pill draw number to the back). In the event there needs to be two heats for one class, the two lowest pill draw numbers will fill the pole position, followed by the next two lowest pill draw numbers in the number two position. *Late arrivals will start in the back of both heats*
All handlers must seal immediately after the first heat race and have their tires branded. Handlers will be required to run the branded tires for the remaining heat and main event(s). In the event you experience a tire defect (e.g., cut tire) you can acquire a branded tire from the Tech Director. If a tire wheel is damaged during a racing event, it will be at the discretion of the Race Director or Tech Director to determine if another used tire (non branded or branded) can be used. The handler must get approval first before using another tire.
In the event of a red flag during the warm up period the clock will be stopped, however, in the event of a yellow flag the clock will not be stopped. There will be an announcement that time is up. At that time, all cars must be past the track entry line. In the event a car or cars are not on the racing surface they will be placed at the back of the pack.
There will be a maximum of ten cars in the junior classes with 15 laps and a time limit of 15 minutes. There will be a maximum of ten cars in the senior classes with 20 laps and a time limit of 20 minutes.
Prior to the main events, there will be a 30 minute break to allow handlers, drivers, and other volunteers to eat lunch. This break may be shortened based upon weather and will be determined by the President and Race Director.
Main Events:
Dice roll in the infield after the heats determines invert for the mains (max 4 car invert for novices). If there is a tie in the total points, the driver with the lowest pill draw will received the position. There will be a two (2) minute warm up. There will be a maximum of 11 cars in junior classes with 30 laps. There will be a maximum of 11 cars in the senior classes with 40 laps. Time limit for all main events is 20 minutes.
Timed Out Race:
When time is up per the tower, the race will finish on the next incident flag or at the checkered flag. If the incident occurs that brings out the yellow or red flag, the field will be lined up in the re-start order and that will be the finish of the race signified by the waving of the yellow and checkered flags together. If a race times out under yellow or red flag, cars will be given one additional restart.
Rain Out of Event:
As per the PQMRA Bylaws, The President is responsible, along with the Race Director to cancel or postpone any race due to weather, tragic events, natural disasters, and the like.
In the event of rain, if the first main event has been completed, the race will be considered final. If the first main event has not begun, the race will be moved to the next rain date and all results will be voided and no points provided. The format will be the same as the race rained out.
